For example, Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi got Golden Bear in Berlin International Film Festival, Academy Award in animation class. Studio Ghibli gets Ozerra gold award in Venice International because Studio Ghibli has high art skill. Now, the studio Ghibli is very famous. But, The process to be famous is not easy.

First, one country give studio Ghibli to good evaluation. The country name is Hong Kong. In 1987, "Tenku no Shiro Rapyuta" was publication. The movie became big hit in Hong Kong. In 1988,"Kaze no Tani no Naushika" and "Tonari no Totoro"was publication. Now, many studio Ghibli's animation are publication and translation.

In America, "Kaze no Tani no Naushika"was published. But, the movie's story and name was changed "Warrious of the Wind" and the publication time is very short. After in America, the MIyazaki Hayao movies could not published. The studio Ghibli animations can get exhibition in MoMA. And, "Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi"can get high score in Rotten Tomatoes. The french cartoonist Moebius named his daughter "Naushika" The Ghibli animation get high evaluation. But, on the other hand, Urusula Kuroeber Le Guin think "Gedo senki" is not good. Because she is original author "Gedo Senki"

In france, the introduce about Miyazaki Hyao's animation is late. In 1993, "Kurenai no Buta" get prize. But in 1995, "Kurenai no Buta"could not get a lot of fan.

There are a lot of fan about Miyazaki Hayao's animations. Many artist too.
There are a lot of animator in Disney. Many animator in Disney is fan about Miyazaki Hayao and the studio Ghibli. When animator in Disney start job, he was looked Miyazaki Hayao animation first. When american animator went to japan, they went Studio Ghibli. Next time, I want to introduce about third animation in this topic. The animation's name is "Nausikaa of the Valley of the Wind (Kaze no Tani no Naushika)"

Why did I choice Kaze no Tani no Naushika?
Because, Kaze no Tani no Naushika is very famous all over the woald, and the story has the theme. It is about environment. The theme is very important  for now people. So, I choice Kaze no Tani no Naushika.

What is Kaze no Tani no Naushika?
Naushikaa of the Valley of the Wihnd (Kaze no Tani no Naushika) is Japanese fantasy adventure  animation movie. The movie is dilected by Miyazaki Hayao in 1984. The movie is based on comics "Kaze no Tani no Naushika" Hisaishi Jyo made music in Kaze no Tani no Naushika. There are a lot of famous staffs in this movie, for example, Takahata Isao, Suzuki Toshio. After making the movie, they become very famous because their jobs is very good. The animation is not for the Studio Ghibli. In 1984, there is not the Studio Ghibli then.

What is the story of Kaze no Tani no Naushika?
The industrial civilization in the Naushika's world was broken by the final war. After thousand years, there is "Fukai" in the world. The Fukai is foulest, and have poison. The people can not get place to live because Fukai. There is small country in the world. The name is "Kaze no Tani" People lived very happy. There is one girl in Kaze no Tani. Her name is Naushika. She studied about fencing and to use
plane. She is very glad, so she can get friend, with a lot of creatures in the Fukai.
One day, the war was started by other country. The country wanted to burn Fukai. Naushika is caught by soldier of other country. When she escaped, she went the deep zone in Fukai. The zone is very clearly. In this time, she know the world become clearly little by little. The soldier of other country attacked Omu. Omu is very important creature about Fukai. Naushika died because she protected Omu. But Omu cure Naushika.

What is reacthon all over the world about Kaze no Tani no Naushika?
Kaze no Tani no Naushika get prize about japan animation grand prize and animation prize in 1984. The movie was choose top ten in the magazine about movies.

Next time, I want to introduce about second animation in this topic. The animation's name is "Supilited away (Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi)"

Why did I choice Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi?
Because, Sen to Chihiro to kamikakushi is very famous and the movie get a lot of awards. So, I choice Sen to chihiro no kamikakushi.


What is Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi?
Sen to chihiro no kamikakushi is japanese animation movie and made by the Studio Ghibli. The director in the movie is Miyazaki Hayao. Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi became presenting to the public in 2001.

What is the story?
There is one girl, her name is Ogino Chihiro. She and her parents moved. But there god lost in the forest on the way. They find tunnel , and went through it. After pass it, they are in wonderful world. Then, Chihiro's parents eat a lot of meals without permission. Her parents become pig, because these meals are for a lot of the gods. So, her parents got curse. Chihiro met one boy. His name is Haku. He helped her. After, Chihiro made her mind to help her parents.Chihiro went the public bath, the name is "Yuya" It is the place for gods. Chihiro met "Yubaba" Yubaba is management about Yuya. Yubaba can get other people's name (=personality) Chihiro lost her name by Yubaba, and got Sen. Sen worked in Yuya. But there are a lot of trouble...

What is the model?
The Yuya has not model. There are a lot of public bath in the Yuya for the model. For example, Tsurumakionsen, Yubaraonsen, Shimaonsen, and megurogazyoen.
There are many wonderful festival in japan. The one is "shimotukikagura"in Nagasaki. Yuya was effected by the festival.

What is rumor?
There are a lot of rumors in Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi. I want to introduction in this paragraph.

3 Kaonashi
   Kaonashi's model is ploducer in the studio Ghibli. He made "karigurashi no ariettey"
   Miyazaki Hayao made Kaonasi's song.
   Kaonashi means modern people.
4 Car
   When Chihiro and her parents went tunnel, use the car. The car is Miyazaki Hayao used. So, he can write the car very reality.
   Chihiro's parents use car roughly. It is means family has not love.

Mononoke hime

I want to introduce about one animation in this topic. The animation's name is "Mononoke hime"

Why did I choice Mononoke hime?
Because, Mononoke hime is very famous and the story of Mononoke hime is very important for modern people. So, I like Mononoke hime very much.

What is Mononoke hime?
Mononoke hime is the animation movie. The movie was made by studio Ghibli in 1997. The story is about conflict, people who affect the forest and gods in the forest. Mononoke hime is epic. Because, Miyzaki Hayao thunked the story for sixteen year. And, the movie was made by using three years.
The income of Mononoke hime is about 19.3 billion yen. Mononoke hime become big hit and change record about movie income at that time. The catch-copy is "live" The main song "Mononoke hime" is become big hit. So, the singer Mera Yoshikazu become very famous by the movie. His voice very creanness. The song of Mononoke hime is mysterious and sacred song. If you have not hear the song of Monnoke hime, you have to hear the song now. I think you can get very good time.

What is the story?
There are one boy Asitaka in village of emishi. He got curse by god of tatari. So, he traveled to west to get the way of cure the curse. He met people of tatara, dependents of jackals. And he met one girl. Her name is san. Asitaka talked these people and animals. He leaned why he got curse. In the time, the battle started by people who want kill god of shishi and mononoke.

What is main point?
Miyazaki Hayao said that there are many theme in the movie of Mononoke hime. These theme is not good for entertainment. Because, the theme is about problem of modern society. The theme can summarize five point.
1 cavity of modern children's hurt
2 discrimination
3 relation between people to nature
4 people's hatred and combative instinct
5 conflict of mysticism and rationalism
There is not theme about Mononoke hime untill now animation movie of studio Ghibli. This is the new try by Miyazaki Hayao. But, After all, the new try was gave he good results.

How did studio Ghibli Making?
Before, Miyazaki hayao painted fifty thousand~seventy thousand pictures to make animation. But in Mononoke hime, Miyazaki Hayao painted one hudred and forty thousand pictures. There are very very a lot of picture in the Movie of Mononoke hime. The studio Ghibli spend much money and very long time to make the movie.
The movie use cell and paints, the movie is last analog movie for studio Ghibli. But, there are some poit to use computer in Mononoke hime.
The tittle is not "Mononoke hime" only. Miyazaki hayao want to choice title "Ashitaka sekki"  One day, Miyazaki Hayao ask producer to change the tittle.  But, producer like "Mononoke hime" very much. So he did not change. After all, Miyazaki Hayao did not say about tittle.

In this topics, I want to talk about Miyazaki Hayao's animation making.
Do you know how to make animation? A lot of people do not know it. Me too. But, when I watch the movie "Mononoke-hime", I was very surprised. What did the animation use skills? How to make the movie? The making is very interesting for me. So, I talk about it.

The studio Ghibli use a lot of computer. But, the basic making of studio Ghibli is similar to traditional making animation. The act of "painting picture" is basic about animation. For example, storyboard, layout, making original picture, making moving image, art design, create a background. These act is made by people hands. The studio Ghibli has one think. It is "making picture have to make by people hands, not all computer" The studio Ghibli use digital and analog well.
Usually, when people check the motion of original picture, people flip paper by using hands. But, Ghibli use the system "QAR(Quick Action Recorder)" This system is use camera. So, studio Ghibli can check the movie by favorite speed.
After line drawing, to decide color, digital painting, and digital synthesis is stared. Original paint is had scan, and became digital date. The scan is made by hands. Do not use self-motion system. Because, computer can not judgment small point. And, if we have self-motion system has trouble, computer hurt original paint. So, the studio Ghibli can not use the system. people's eye and hands is very important to make the animation.
Next, to make and choice color and by use computer. The stuff said "Animation have to representation the world by limited color" When use computer, we can use flesh color stability. But it is not use color infinitely. In fact, the recent animation of studio Ghibli use about five hundred colors.
After to choice colors, start digital paint. The merit to use computer is  changing color every time. When  did not the stuff dicid final color, they can choice temporary color and change final color after. The way is very fast and efficient.
To use CG is very convenient. because if we use CG, we can get correct purse and motion. But it is not real. people needs moderate lie. So, studio Ghibli use deformed in them animation movie.
Final, the picture has digital synthesis. Traditional animation is shooting one page every. The effect is added in this time. For example smoke. There are expert stuff in the studio Ghibli now. The effect of noise is added. Because full digital animation is cool. People get used to watch film animation. The film animation is mild. So, studio Ghibli use noise.
The studio Ghibli use computer now.  Some people think that it is good. But other people think it is not good. I think that to use computer is good. Because to use computer is very combinient.
 CG art and computer graphics grow year by year. We can paint difficult expression now. The studio Ghibli has device that animation is looked real. I think that the device is very important. So, studio Ghibli can get a lot of fan and keep high quality.

The difference between Ghibli and others

I want to talk about the difference between Ghibli and others. Ghibli has a lot of difference point between it and others. So, Ghibli a high growth in the animation world.
Ghibli has high quality of painting picture. The quality is top level in the world.

When I look up the picture first, I look on it with nostalgia. It is too difficult for other people to experience that. This time, I have one question. The question is "Why can studio Ghibli keep quality ?"
I have one answer of the question.
The reason is career. Studio Ghibli has long history. So stuff of studio Ghibli is has very long career. For example Miyazaki Hayao, he is too old to making animation. Miyazaki Hayao spends a lot of time to painting. So, he can paint very very high quality pictures. Other stuff can paint high quality pictures too. Stuff of studio Ghibli studied about painting for a long time. For example, the univercity about painting, vocationally school about painting.
Ghibli has a lot of different point between Ghibli and others. The story of studio Ghibli is unique. The story was thunked for very long time. The stuffs of studio Ghibli have a lot of meeting about story. It is very hard. But after meeting, the story is very profound world view.
And character of studio Ghibli is unique too. There are a lot of characters in Ghibli's movies. For example, Ashitaka, San, Sen, Haku, Baron. Some character is normal people. But others are god, animals, and spirit. The caracter is full of life. So, people can look for their favorite character. And people can think about after story. The people was all excited at the through of it.
The production costs is very high. The studio Ghibli use a lot of money to making animation. The cost is 20~40 hundred million. It is very high. The animation studio need a lot of money to make animation. Studio Ghibli is too. So, Ghibli make goods.
