Miyazaki's animation making

In this topics, I want to talk about Miyazaki Hayao's animation making.
Do you know how to make animation? A lot of people do not know it. Me too. But, when I watch the movie "Mononoke-hime", I was very surprised. What did the animation use skills? How to make the movie? The making is very interesting for me. So, I talk about it.

The studio Ghibli use a lot of computer. But, the basic making of studio Ghibli is similar to traditional making animation. The act of "painting picture" is basic about animation. For example, storyboard, layout, making original picture, making moving image, art design, create a background. These act is made by people hands. The studio Ghibli has one think. It is "making picture have to make by people hands, not all computer" The studio Ghibli use digital and analog well.
Usually, when people check the motion of original picture, people flip paper by using hands. But, Ghibli use the system "QAR(Quick Action Recorder)" This system is use camera. So, studio Ghibli can check the movie by favorite speed.
After line drawing, to decide color, digital painting, and digital synthesis is stared. Original paint is had scan, and became digital date. The scan is made by hands. Do not use self-motion system. Because, computer can not judgment small point. And, if we have self-motion system has trouble, computer hurt original paint. So, the studio Ghibli can not use the system. people's eye and hands is very important to make the animation.
Next, to make and choice color and by use computer. The stuff said "Animation have to representation the world by limited color" When use computer, we can use flesh color stability. But it is not use color infinitely. In fact, the recent animation of studio Ghibli use about five hundred colors.
After to choice colors, start digital paint. The merit to use computer is  changing color every time. When  did not the stuff dicid final color, they can choice temporary color and change final color after. The way is very fast and efficient.
To use CG is very convenient. because if we use CG, we can get correct purse and motion. But it is not real. people needs moderate lie. So, studio Ghibli use deformed in them animation movie.
Final, the picture has digital synthesis. Traditional animation is shooting one page every. The effect is added in this time. For example smoke. There are expert stuff in the studio Ghibli now. The effect of noise is added. Because full digital animation is cool. People get used to watch film animation. The film animation is mild. So, studio Ghibli use noise.
The studio Ghibli use computer now.  Some people think that it is good. But other people think it is not good. I think that to use computer is good. Because to use computer is very combinient.
 CG art and computer graphics grow year by year. We can paint difficult expression now. The studio Ghibli has device that animation is looked real. I think that the device is very important. So, studio Ghibli can get a lot of fan and keep high quality.
